soul, somatics, and grit ~ a women’s group
This is a group facilitated by Dev Bry for people who have previous experience in somatically-oriented environments. We explore the dissolution, claiming, opening or defining identities we have as mothers, non-mothers, aging bodies, ageless spirits, community members, and — perhaps most importantly — medicine bringers and relational tenders.
SOUL, SOMATICS, AND GRIT membership is $33/month.
We meet for 60-75 minutes on the first Thursday of every month at
8:30am PT, 10:30 CT, 11:30am ET, 4:30pm UK, 5:30pm EU
As a member you’ll receive:
Monthly group sessions online with dev and the community. Together we embody soul, soma, and sauce and utilize relational practices for authentic expression.
Access to a community group chat where we can share our ideas, reflections, resources and connect about our experiences between groups.
A email about the monthly theme, with a guided somatic practice.
Free access to dev’s broader community calls.
20% discount to a HoneyRoot-inspired retreat in Maine (hosted by dev and colleagues)
50% discount on the Women’s Embodiment Circle Booklet (a guide on how to start your own circle, including months and months of curricula)
Themes that influence and weave into our time together:
our empowerment (felt sense of choice)
listening with our whole body
mutually supportive relating
practicing embodied speech within community
the way of grief
death and dying
birth and becoming
agility with our internal terrain
the power of PAUSE
body as resource
roots as resource
music as resource
shape-shifting (on purpose)
acknowledging developmental needs
ritual/rhythms within community
that *how we be* often being more substantive than *what we do*
Love as a thing
dance as a teacher
laughter as a necessity
presence as a resting place
softening our “shoulds” and making space in our mind-body-heart for what is
connection as the way, our way towards greater capacity, resilience and freedom.
*
so yeah… soul, somatics, grit, intergenerational goodness, and what the heck it is to be our own unique, personally-designed (vs socially dictated) version of woman.
